  • 1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch.
  3. In one bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, drizzle olive oil over the chicken.
  4. Coat each chicken breast with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place breaded chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and spoon marinara sauce over each piece; sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Return to the air fryer for an additional 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Allow to rest for a few minutes before serving.
