  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened at room temperature
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • Pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. For the crust, beat softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Mix in flour, cinnamon, and salt; press into the prepared dish. Bake for 15 minutes.
  3. Combine sliced apples with sugar, flour, and cinnamon in a bowl. Prepare the streusel by mixing oats, brown sugar, flour, and cold cubed butter until crumbly.
  4. Spread apple mixture over baked crust; sprinkle streusel on top and press lightly.
  5. Bake for an additional 45 minutes until golden brown. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
