  • 1/4 cup melted butter (regular or vegan)
  • 1 1/4 cup milk (regular, oat, or almond)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (regular or gluten-free)
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar for glaze
  • 1 tbsp milk (for glaze)
  • 1 tsp vanilla (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, milk, and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add baking powder, baking soda, vanilla, and flour; fold gently until combined but do not overmix.
  4. Carefully fold in blueberries.
  5. Spoon the batter into the donut pan filling each cavity about three-quarters full.
  6. Bake for approximately 25 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. While cooling on a wire rack, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for the glaze.
  8. Once cooled slightly, dip donuts in glaze or drizzle on top.
