  • 10 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (plus more to taste)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter (divided)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak until browned on all sides, then remove from skillet.
  2. In boiling salted water, cook rigatoni until al dente (8-10 minutes). Reserve half a cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and more Cajun seasoning if desired.
  5. Toss cooked rigatoni with the sauce and reserved pasta water as needed; fold in steak tips gently.
