  • 1 tablespoon fresh sage (chopped)
  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms (sliced)
  • 3 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Boil the Tortellini: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the tortellini according to package instructions.
  2. Prep Your Ingredients: While waiting for the water to boil, slice your mushrooms and chop the sage.
  3. Cook the Sage: In a skillet over medium-high heat, combine 1 tablespoon of butter and olive oil. Add chopped sage and cook until crisp.
  4. Sauté the Mushrooms: Add sliced mushrooms and minced garlic to the skillet with another tablespoon of butter. Sauté until browned.
