  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/3 cup hot pepper jelly

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat together softened cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  2. Mix in shredded cheddar cheese until fully combined.
  3. Add flour, salt, and garlic powder (if using); mix until a dough forms.
  4. Chill the dough for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Roll the chilled dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Press your thumb into the center of each ball to create an indentation.
  8. Fill each indentation with about 1/2 teaspoon of hot pepper jelly.
  9. Bake for 13–15 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
