  • 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 yellow onion (grated)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 yellow onion (diced)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup low sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp chopped dill

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix grated onion, ground beef, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, heavy cream, and egg until just combined. Shape into four patties.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Sear patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté diced onion and minced garlic until fragrant. Stir in salt, pepper, and flour; cook for another minute.
  4. Gradually add chicken broth while scraping up any browned bits. Simmer for 2 minutes before stirring in heavy cream and dill.
  5. Return the patties to the skillet; simmer for 5-6 minutes until heated through.
