  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 200g mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 150g fresh spinach
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 100g cheese (mozzarella or cheddar), grated
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté chopped onions and minced garlic in a skillet until translucent.
  3. Add finely chopped mushrooms and cook until softened.
  4. Stir in fresh spinach until wilted; season with salt and pepper.
  5. Remove from heat, cool slightly, then mix in grated cheese and cream cheese.
  6. Roll out puff pastry; cut into 24 squares.
  7. Place about a teaspoon of filling on each square, fold and seal edges.
  8. Brush tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  9. Bake on a lined baking sheet for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
