  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 pint vegetable oil
  • 2 cups jalapeno peppers, sliced

Instructions

  1. Prepare the jalapenos by slicing them into spears and removing seeds if desired.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, eggs, and beef broth until smooth.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or skillet to about 365°F (185°C).
  4. Dip each jalapeno spear into the batter until fully coated and carefully place in the hot oil.
  5. Fry until golden brown and crisp on all sides; drain on paper towels and season with additional salt if desired.
