  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 fresh strawberries, halved

Instructions

  4. For the pastry cream, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, and heavy cream over medium heat. Temper egg yolks mixed with cornstarch into the hot mixture until thickened; refrigerate.
