  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 1/2 cups finely grated zucchini
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a greased loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix eggs, oil, sour cream, both sugars, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Fold grated zucchini into the wet mixture.
  5. Combine dry and wet ingredients until just mixed; avoid overmixing.
  6. Gently fold in half of the chocolate chips and transfer batter to the loaf pan.
  7. Sprinkle remaining chips on top and bake for about 55 minutes.
