  • 4 beef sausages
  • 6 slices turkey bacon (chopped)
  • 1 large onion (sliced)
  • 4 large potatoes (peeled and sliced)
  • 2 large carrots (peeled and sliced)
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • ½ cup white grape juice (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, brown the beef sausages on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add chopped turkey bacon and cook until crispy.
  3. Stir in sliced onions and minced garlic; sauté until softened.
  4. Layer sliced potatoes and carrots over the mixture.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and white grape juice if using, then season with thyme, salt, and pepper.
  6. Add the sausages back into the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and let simmer for about an hour until everything is tender.
