  • 12 strips turkey bacon
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wrap each peeled carrot tightly in one strip of turkey bacon and place them on a large baking sheet with the ends of the bacon facing down.
  3. Brush half of the maple syrup onto all sides of the bacon-wrapped carrots and season with freshly ground black pepper.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, remove and brush with the remaining maple syrup, then return to bake for an additional 15 minutes until tender and crispy.
