Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 2.53 cups water or broth
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Sear the seasoned steak pieces for about 2–3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from the pan.
  2. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter, garlic, and crushed red pepper flakes; sauté for 1–2 minutes.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer for about 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Stir in the grated parmesan until melted.
  5. Add uncooked rotini pasta and enough water or broth to cover it. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover. Simmer for about 10–12 minutes until pasta is al dente.
  6. Return the steak with its juices back into the skillet and combine everything well.
  7. Adjust seasonings as needed and garnish with parsley before serving.
