Ingredients

  • Yukon Gold potatoes
  • Heavy cream
  • Unsalted butter
  • Fresh rosemary (or thyme/sage)
  • Better Than Bouillon Roasted Garlic Base
  • Grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with 1 tablespoon of butter and sprinkle in 3 tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese.
  3. In a saucepan over low heat, combine heavy cream, butter, herbs, salt, pepper, and the garlic base until melted.
  4. Thinly slice the potatoes (about ⅛ inch thick) and layer them diagonally in the baking dish.
  5. Pour the cream mixture evenly over the potato layers and cover tightly with greased aluminum foil.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 20 minutes or until golden brown. Broil for 4 minutes for an extra crispy top.
