  • 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup (50g) light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 15oz can pure pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100g) light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup (100ml) vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (110ml) milk
  • 1 3/4 cups (230g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup (60g) powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup (85g) pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in pumpkin puree and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually fold this mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60-80 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar and maple syrup until smooth; drizzle over cooled bread.
