  • 10 ounces vegan marshmallows
  • 5 cups Rice Krispie cereal
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 10 ounces caramels (unwrapped)
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 5 tablespoons plant-based butter (for caramel)
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 6 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • Sea salt (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Butter a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt 5 tablespoons of plant-based butter. Add vegan marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla extract.
  3. In another saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, 5 tablespoons of plant-based butter, and unwrapped caramels. Stir over medium heat until smooth.
  4. Pour the caramel mixture over the Rice Krispie base and sprinkle sea salt on top.
  5. Heat heavy cream until it bubbles lightly, then pour it over milk chocolate chips in a bowl and stir until smooth. Drizzle over the caramel layer and finish with more sea salt.
